Derryn Sapsford BSc DipHR (AHRI)
With a background and qualifications in Human Resources and Training & Development, Derryn is the parent of three children with one being a high functioning autistic, who has a Statement of SEN. Derryn is qualified at Post Graduate level in Autism in Practice. She is trained and authorised by the Advisory Centre for Education Step by Step Programme to deliver parents with advice in education processes such as Statutory Assessment for a Statement of Special Educational Needs, applying for schools, how to deal with bullying and in managing school exclusions. She is a practising ABA tutor in mainstream education and has worked at both primary and secondary level. She is a licensed ACE Step by Step trainer.
Passionate about helping fellow parents, having struggled to find such support surrounding her own son's areas of need, Derryn's grounded approach to exploring and achieving the best for each child is refreshing and overwhelmingly positive.
